This photograph was taken at a local motorcycle rally. Through trial and error I've learned its hard to photograph chrome. There is nowhere to hide, I always ended up in the chrome reflection. A good long lens does the trick even if I am a football field distance from the chromed bike. click details to order print

My wife had gone into the gift shop at the Grotto in West Bend, Iowa. I was sitting on a bench when I heard little chirping noises. I looked up and saw a straw and mud nest. I had to stand up on a bench and hold the camera completely over my head. I had no idea if I was even getting the baby birds in the photograph. The mother robin was very patient in letting me photograph her babies. click details to order print
