35 mm Slide & Negative Scanning services.I can also scan your favorite images at the highest dpi (dots per square inch) 4000dpi 14 bit color sampling. This equates to a file size of about 100 megabytes. I can make separate folders of smaller size files of these same images, too. That way, they will be more readily accepted at photo kiosks. I scan the images in at the highest rate for safety reasons so you can take your image to a professional digital lab and have your photographs produced up to 16 inches x 20 inches. I charge $3.00 per slide or negative frame--this will cover the cost of having your images put on CD-ROM or DVD. I don't have a minimum order to have your slide or negative scanned as most places do. I take all precautions with the slides and negatives which you send to me. I cannot guarantee such things as damage during shipping and handling, or damage to the slide/negative from the natural aging process of film. I can only replace the cost of a roll of blank film or negative slide film. I scan your slides and negatives with Nikon® Coolscan equipment, which utilizes Nikon developed ED (extra-low dispersion) optical glass which gives superior sharpness and color correction, and LED light sources for more accurate and consistent color. My basic film and slide scanning prices are charged per slide or negative frame. For this price I will create one high resolution 24-bit (14-bit per color channel) image file. You choose the file format for your high resolution image (.tif, .jpg, ). Pricing includes: the use of Digital ICE™ technology, color correction as needed, cropping excess border--which is actually part of the slide mount, so you're left with only your image, and rotating images to their proper vertical / horizontal aspect. Of course, if you'd rather do your own editing, just let us know. You don't have to lose all your treasured photographs that you've accumulated over the years. Don't let your family's heirloom photographs/negatives/slides deteriorate. Save them for the next generation. If your a photographer who uses film/slides instead of a digital media, this is a great insurance to have those images digitized and stored. I have multiple copies of my photographs digitized and duplicated in case of fire or natural disaster. Please mail your slides and negatives to: Please include $5.50 for return shipping and handling and the quantity of each slide/negative to be scanned.
